• Alicia Franco, struggling to reconcile Latino traditions with contemporary realities.
• Fern Larsen Caring for her husband Lloyd, whose emphysema requires 24-hour attention.
• Lorraine Watson "They were wonderful parents and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for them."
• Bonnie She gave up a career in the Twin Cities to move home and take care of Mom.
• Jerry Cohen, who is spending down his personal assets to care for his wife at home.
• Howard Frushtick, a CareGiver for developmentally disabled adults at Jewish Family and Career Services, Atlanta.
• Arlene Garcia, who hopes to win the lottery and build a nursing home big enough for her entire family on the Hopi Reservation.
• George Mairs, who cares for his wife, stricken with MS.
• Ed Mehlenbacher He cares for his partner, who has HIV/AIDS.
